Looking manufacturers of metal 1/72

Posted by elendir on 25 Jul 2008, 03:17

My hobby has always been confined to plastic figures until recently, when , after looking for months at Alex' work on internet, I thought: "well, I'm not into metal nor into Medieval, but this genius' work must be rewarded!".
So I bought 3 sets from Valdemar.
After looking at them speechless in awe for some time I decided that metal MUST be included in my life from now on!

Can you point me please to manufacturers of Metal 20mm or compatible with 1/72? I know from TJeromeke of FineScaleFactory (very appealing, by the way). Any suggestion will be very welcome (of course not by my wallet!)
Thanks

Roland, do you know if Irregular 25mm are compatible with 1/72 plastic or do they look too big? Thanks

yes, its really impossible to find some pics of td miniatures on the web. I have some normans and some late medieval figs. I can make some pics of them if you wish.

I bought them second hand a couple of years ago.
I think some of the late medievals on the third picture are hand gunners and artillery crew.

The persian javelin man was a kind of bonus figure. :-D

Holger, would it be possible to see a picture of the above metal miniatures along side 1/72 plastic miniatures? I'd like to see how well they mix.

Thanks!
