Newline and Hat Late Roman Comparisons

Posted by ToneTW on 29 Mar 2021, 10:59

I'm looking at a Late Antiquity project and have mainly Hat and Newline figures there are closeups of the Newline codes I have as I am aware how poor the webshop images are they are lovely sculpts and match well with Hat's figures size.

I'm trying to get Sean to scale down his 28mm Arthurian's to 1/72 they look cool but in the mean time I have a lot of researching and planing to do as well as my main Classical Antiquity project!

Anyway I thought folks might be interested in the comparison pictures

Can't they serve in your army?

Many thanks ;) . Just had asked it in another post haha. I believe I have some Lusitanian infantry that must have been Newline.

So, do they all compare so well, or are there some differences between sets?

Heads are slightly big, but at least the first mounted look superb.

So, they are marketed as 20 mm right?

From my "shield" thread:

These are Tumbling Dice figures & a few HaT Missile troops. As you can see, quite compatible. The TDs & the Italeri Late Romans are even more so.

BTW I don't like those Newline horses.
