Thanks guys for the Ice cream, keep sending
I am also over 30, almost twice (58) and got int the hobby later.
As a kid I was mor enjoying the model kids of WW2 stuff.
Every weekend we went from Amsterdam to the campingsite
It was next to a army base, so I played in the old sherman tanks they used for practice.
In the holidays you where happy when the solders went by, sometime they let carry there weapons.
You can imagine how lucky you felt then. Looking for blanks that she used during the many exercises.
Those where the times... and there came the love for the many modelkits I made.
Later I became a dad of 2 fantastic children, from who my son discovered the painting of figures.
First Wharhammer, but later 20mm because he could buy more for less money.
I decided to join him in his hobby later on, but will never get his skils for sure.
He started this forum, and I like to have some time with our hobby together.
Now he got his own family, so dad left with his hobby, thats how it went.
I prefer the bigger figures 25-30 mm because my eyes getting worse.
And non violent because I mainly paint at my wife her house, so I love non violent the most.
These figures are hard to find, cause the most have a weapon in there hands, or on them.
So no I am not 30, but my son when he was under 30 started this hobby and forum.
Therefore I am not surprised to see more younger members.
