Hello,
now going into my 48th year. When I was 6 years old I started with AIRFIX American Paratroopers.
Since 2-3 years now I watch people selling their complete collections for small money. 4 weeks agoe I was lucky to catch a complete Art Miniaturen collection for a very good price. It is joy to see my own collection comes to completeness, but in the same way it makes me very unhappy that some collections came on the market through the death of the collectors. So it happened with a collection of more than 200.000 figures from Berlin.
A good thing is that I have the wife and the flat to collect where I live without the need to go into basement or attic, a son of 6 years who loves to play with all the painted and unpainted soldiers of his own collection of 4-5000 soldiers. Next step would be to buy an appartment just for soldiers :-) I once have seen with a book collector and to very very expensive flats in Hamburg. I want the same I want the same I want the same!

Greetings from baltic sea coast

I bought the set of Pegasus D-Day Rangers after a 20 year hiatus from the hobby, because they were just simply too good not to.

Then I figured I would paint a few other figures first to get into a better painting rhythm before tackling the Rangers. That was 2008 or so, but I still haven't tackled them yet. A thirteen-year warmup period has not proved sufficient.

I will speak for my household (we are in pandemic times!). So, we have two over's and one under :) . My father introduced me into small soldiers, and I introduced my little brother, so he qualifies just as under 30 :) .

ohhh...I have missed this thread. I am 15 and affected by dyscalculia
Who care how old we are: let's paint, let's play and drink a beer meanwhile (which of course is procured by my older friends as they don't sell it to me yet 8) ). I mainly paint historical figures now, but have a huge collection of GW stuff (fell in the trap myself)and I indulge, now and then, in painting some BloodBowl team or Necromunda squads.

Let's make a new thread for under 50. I have about two more months to belong!

Hmm, then I have to lie about my age. Again! A big modest small party the pretty soon, Aaron.
