Rorke's Drift real game?!

Posted by PaulRPetri on 24 Dec 2020, 21:12

I was very lucky to host a fill in Christmas game last Saturday. Our normal group always meets for a big Christmas wargame and party event. With this years problems only four of us were able to get together and we met at my house, not the usual meeting location. I didnt take as many pictures as I wanted as we got stuck into the action and forget to snap a few action shots, But here is what I have.
The first five shots show the starting positions of the troops.

Zulus attacking the hospital.

The four gamers. I am the one on the right with raised fist and cheesy Christmas sweater.

The hospital has fallen with soldiers still trapped inside. I was too late to get them out!

It was a great time!! A true Christmas gift for me!!

Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas to all.

The British scored a minor victory, we were pushed into the storehouse zone and with volley fire we were able to hold off the determined zulu attacks. We lost a lot more British soldier than in the actual battle. Was lots of fun!

Thanks for the kind comments Donald!

Very nice gaming table, your scenery elements are great, and your painted figures too :)
