Figure Comparison, 1/72 Ancient Assyrian Infantry

Posted by Erich von Manstein on 24 Feb 2020, 14:19

Michael Cremerius from Germania Figuren was so kind to provide some samples of his new Assyrian range. :thumbup:

So, here a plain side by side comparison with relevant 1/72 figures.

a = Caesar H007 - Assyrian Army
b = HäT 8092 - Assyrian Infantry
c = HäT 8121 - Assyrian Allied Infantry

Bit more details.

Some comments:
The figures arrived in exactly the state you see em here, I did not change anything on them. For better height-comparison I loosely placed them on Zvezda AoT bases. I did not glue the shield to the figure, just arranged the pieces as intended. Sadly the pertaining picture is not conclusive enough, but be assured that the shield perfectly fits into the figures hand.

Overall, excellent & highly detailed figures which add nicely with the equally good Caesar range. Only suboptimal aspect is the height, which ideally should be a good millimetre less. ;-)

Again, thanks to Michael for the samples. :yeah:

Hope this might prove useful for some.

Happy modelling!

Anyone who was worried that these Assyrians would not fit in with the previously issued Caesar and HäT ranges can now breath a sigh of relief.

Very useful display for all those wishing to mix them up for a Rumble. :thumbup:
:read: A Rumble is to discover the true facts about something. It also means a street fight...Or a sound like the music Gunnar plays. BB
