Atlantic Ambush at Apache Pass game

Many years ago as a boy l used to look in awe at full colour adverts that Atlantic placed in magazines and comics. One that particularly caught my eye was the above game along with The Fetterman Massacre, sadly they never made it to any toy shop near me.

Imagine my joy today when l managed to pick up an Apache Pass map and rules, plus a ton of figures, tents, Gatling guns, representing etc.

There is not much info on the web about the game, does anyone on the forum have any idea how many figures would have come in the box?

In addition, is there any web site showing those old adverts from long ago?
