Hat Bavarians

Rather than performing an exhaustive google search I thought I would ask the forum if the two available boxes of Hat Bavarians are all that are needed to build a couple of battalions. A quick search of my sources on hand don't give a good break down of how their battalions were organized and therefor what figures would be needed.

@Manstein Great source but is there a way to translate? Please forgive my lack of knowledge but I thought Windows Explorer had a translation tool but I can't find it.

You could try the "Google" translating machine.
As English obviously is not my first language, I also have to consult online dictionaries every now and then.
From my perspective "Linguee" and "Leo" are two useful and easy to navigate sites.
Not sure what would be the ideal translation tool when it comes to specialist terms for 19th century military history though.

As you've implied already, the mentioned site is quite helpful.
Hope you'll manage to translate the general oob/army structure and specific unit compositions you're looking for!

And useful for me as well Eric. I frequent a lot of forums, so assume most others do too (if not, people are missing out), so when I had already replied on TMP I figured I would just steer the conversation there.
