IMEX 1/72 Ivanhoe Castle?

Posted by Jesse on 07 Mar 2016, 10:14

IMEX has a plastic modelkit of a castle titled "Ivanhoe Castle" with round towers, set 7251. I can't find any reviews or pictures of it except the front box pictures that is computer generated and some photos of a similar castle but for scale 1/32. It would be nice to see pictures of the real thing and what the kit includes.

Here is some information:

http://sophiastoreus.com/imex-7251-172-ivanhoes-castle/

When you have a look at google, most of the time you get this information:

World History Series. 11 Walls, 1 Drawbrige, 4 Towers 15" x 15" x 7"

Here a picture of the inside of the box:

My conclusion is that it looks much like the Zvezda, Italeri and MiniArt castles.

Thank you Peter! I want to do a late 15th century diorama, for example the Burgundian wars in 1470s or the First Italian War in 1490s, but can't decide on which castle or fortress to use. I was leaning on buying the Miniart Medieval Castle but I think round towers seem more apropriate for the 15th century and the Miniart castle has square towers. What is your opinion about this - square towers in the late 15th Century?

Forget about Zveda's castles. Production is canceled few years ago.
