Here is a book that might interest you. I'm pretty sure I have it. I'll check at home:

The author, DeLillio, has created some nice dioramas of Market Garden. His work is among my favorites. See for example

http://www.missing-lynx.com/gallery/dio ... lillo.html (Hell's Highway)

http://www.missing-lynx.com/gallery/dio ... lillo.html (Hartenstein Hotel)

I hope this helps.

Hi,
There are some good books about this subject:
C. Ryan: a brigde too far.
R.E. Urquhart: Arnhem
C. Hibbert: The battle of Arnhem
L. Hagen: Arnhem Lift
J.Sims: Arnhem Spearhead
All here on my bookshelf.
A lot more books on this subject were only published in Dutch...
Also an Osprey book is on the market.

Hi,
Some Photo's of the re-enactment day in september 2004 (60 years after).
The parade through Oosterbeek:

A group-picture of all re-enactors in front of Hotel Hartenstein (now the Airborne-museum):

I spoke an old veteran there and he remembered the general in charge Urquhart and his own Gen Hackett.
The last one was severe wounded in the battle and he stayed behind enemy lines for over 2 months.
Afler 2 attempts he returned and in the '60 he became the chief-in-command of the Britich Nato troops in Europe:
