Superheroes

Posted by kevinrolfe on 14 Jan 2015, 21:07

I run Superhero rpgs at conventions and would like to use 1/72 minis.

I have complete sets of Caeser's and Dark/Light Alliance fantasy as well as the dream pod Sci-Fi stuff.

my question is other than adapting Caeser's sportsmen range does any one have any ideas about this, the heroes are generic so not tied to Marvel or DC

Using the Sportsmen figures is a good idea! I bought some Zerboz figures that are pretty close to 1/72. Mike the Bunkermeister uses Battle Dice figures for his 1/72 supers. Both lines seem to be OOP, but the secondary market is still pretty strong.

I think Remco (or Peter) did a Superman some years ago.

You can do the Shadow...He is basically first superhero there is, created before Superman...
Here is his picture...http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... owhere.jpg
You can also do some Super-heroine...

None of the heroes I plan are DC or Marvel.

The US figures would be perfect. I'll try ebay

There was a line of Batman 1/72 figures, that came with mini-playsets style Mighty Max. Along those playsets there was also a line for Conan, and there is a very similar one from Star Wars, that you maybe can get some figures that are useful for you. Also, if you want robots and monsters, you can try finding "War Planets" figures.

Not in your scale, but in keeping with the theme of the topic.

CHARBENS Toy Sci Fi Comic: Batman in larger 4 inch scale.

CHERILEA Toy Sci Fi Comic: Two Piece Batman 9 CM

Both In my Toy Collection, but these are not my photo`s .Have no time to fudge them out.

Very interesting topic,I`ll look into trying to find some in the smaller scales later. BB
