Described as a Bullet it was just under 70 Tons. I suppose it could have been a solid shot.
The Gun itself well over a Thousand Tons.

In this photo the Gun is shown without its replaceable extension barrel, total barrel length 30 meters.

Gustav fired 48 Bullets at the siege of Sevastopol 1942. The Gun needed replacing after this. Worn out due to test firing and this action. It never was replaced.

The Box Art only of the 1/72 scale model, with no makers name. EModels sold one earlier this year, and it is a Whopper!

The real ones cost 7 million Reichsmarks = to value of 30 King Tiger Tanks.

I clicked onto the title of the Topic to change it slightly and it posted it instead. This was the first time this has happened, but I will have to learn by it and remember it. So to end my topic now with this

On eBay at this present time at £4.11 plus £4.80 postage is the 1/72 Kingtiger tank. I got it right this time. I`ve tried to find out the Maker of that huge Gun,but failed. So if anyone knows perhaps a comment here on Miniatures Talk. BB

You think the 1/72nd Dora model is impressive?

Try this 1/6th Scale version

Hi Steve,I did see this ,but thought not to include it here on this part of the Forum, because it is ment for smaller scale models. True I did place 1/35 example ,but thought that Benno`s Heavy`s Mob might be set upon me if I pushed my luck to far. Thanks for your comment and impute. BB
