It's the first time I've heard about them. Coincidentally, some of the poses were rather familiar to me from more recent HaT sets :)

I have a lot of them at home. The history of this company is a strange one. In the middle of the 70ies Rosspack started with producing 25mm plastics. Much cheaper then the metals which hurt the manufactures so that they simply bought the complete range and let it disappear.

The cheap figures were no more a problem and they could sell their metals....
Today it is different with all the 28mm plastics appearing on the market.

I have a lot of these figures in my collection. They are bigger than the average 1/72 figure, around the size of a Zvezda figure. The plastic is extrem hard and usually half the figures are broken (reminds me on BUM  ).

I hope this helps.

cheers

I have two full armies, Greek and Roman, apart from a very small number of broken spears they have stood up well to wargames use over the years.

Rumour was that they got "leaned on" by the metal manufacturers

A few more pics are on my blog

Reminds me to take some pictures of my Romans

The different shield designs make them outstanding. Great work.

I collect the old stuff; figures and toys,so Will ,it was very good to see your collection ,of Rospaks Greeks, along with your other collections of War Gaming figures. Very Nice ,and here is i with not one Rospacs figure in my entire collection.

I realise now I have to start another quest for yet more figures from a bygone age.
Just a few for the toy collection. BB

Never heard of them.

For the day, the figures are ground breaking.

Being "leaned on" by metal manufacturers seems like a dream from 'conspiracy theorists'.

It's more likely the owner of Rospaks shot Kennedy & the CIA put him out of business.

Well concerning the figures, they are out there, and for whatever price one wishes to bid for them. I have a unique way of checking E Bay records on collectors item`s from the past. (Sorry my secret !)True there was no picture still on the page with this sale which was on E Bay,because after a while they take the pictures off,but the record is still there. The person paid £130 for the Rospiks figures.

"GULP! How much?"

"Yes I know Jason. Lets see what they got for their money."

Here is the list of used 25mmRospiks Greek figures.
180+ hoplite infantry,
100+ light infantry,60 cavalry and 60 horses.
100+ phalanx with pikes,
100 phalanx without pikes, ( I guess they had swords )

So he,or she got one heck of a good bargain.

I would prefure them bagged up,but beggers can`t be chooses . BB

It seems to me that you have a very big and precious collection, BB. And it is already growing fast, keeping your last purchases in mind.

Thanks to all who wrote something in the topic. I did not know these figs before and it was nice to know.
