Posting pictures in the forum

Posted by Benno on 30 Oct 2007, 00:20

You have pictures on your PC and you want to put them in the forum? Well it's very easy! Sign in on Photobucket and upload your images.

Now, the pictures are uploaded, how do I put them in the forum? There are four links (see picture underneath) and which one do I have to use?

----------------------------------------------------------
Well you need the direct link!

----------------------------------------------------------
Click on the link and it get's automatically copied.

----------------------------------------------------------
Now put the direct link between the [img]%20and%20[/img].

Click the preview button to see if the picture is visible, if not, you did something wrong. ;-) I hope this helps for those who don't know how to post pictures on a forum.

If you post multiple pictures, please post them under each other and try to keep the width of the pictures under 650 pixels. Thanks!

Of course it's possible to upload your pictures on other websites, for example imageshack, but I highly recommend Photobucket.

I copied the image url of the picture and placed it between the IMG tags. It seemed to work for me, so you could try that first.

No you can't Michael. You need to upload them first on another place, photobucket, tinypic, picasaweb.google.....
Then you get an URL, copy it and use the img button above. Check your post with the preview button.

Hopes this helps ;-)

Photo Bucket & Tinypics are one in the same. Eventually they will block access to you until you pay.
Photo Bucket,Froze me out of my account with them, and tinypics which they own. They also pulled the plug on their system late last year, and worldwide millions of pictures vanished! This was to frighten people into paying. It worked! That is historical fact.

Imageadult image sharing

I use this Free Picture Posting Site, if Interested click on my photograph, and it will take you directly there Just Like` Alice Through The Looking Glass.'
Very easy and quick to use,and you do not have to register and give out any of your details.
Just click on UPLOAD, Chose your own computer file, and click on your picture,
then click on the fast track forums box,and it is copied, so have fun posting your work here on Benno`s Figure Forum. :-D BB
