Posting pictures in the forum

Posted by Benno on 30 Oct 2007, 00:20

You have pictures on your PC and you want to put them in the forum? Well it's very easy! Sign in on Photobucket and upload your images.

Now, the pictures are uploaded, how do I put them in the forum? There are four links (see picture underneath) and which one do I have to use?

----------------------------------------------------------
Well you need the direct link!

Click on the link and it get's automatically copied.

Now put the direct link between the .

Click the preview button to see if the picture is visible, if not, you did something wrong. ;-) I hope this helps for those who don't know how to post pictures on a forum.

If you post multiple pictures, please post them under each other and try to keep the width of the pictures under 650 pixels. Thanks!

Of course it's possible to upload your pictures on other websites, for example imageshack, but I highly recommend Photobucket.

Flickr is "upgrading their accounts
free accounts limited to 1000 videos/photos. Change-over on 5th January 2019
If you want more you have to go Pro for $49.99 a year. Although if you switch before end of this month you get 30% off the first year.
Inevitable that some sort of costing would come after SmugMug bought them out in April this year

As of November 2018, Flickr offers two types of accounts: Free and Pro. The free option is limited to 1000 photos or videos stored, with videos limited to 3 minutes. The Pro option features "unlimited" storage, advanced statistics, advertising-free browsing, videos up to 10 minutes in length, "premier" customer service, and promotional offers with other partners. Until November 2018, free accounts had up to 1 TB of storage; effective February 5, 2019, a free account's older content will be deleted automatically if it contains more than 1,000 photos and they do not subscribe to Pro
