Thanks

@despertaferro: It helps when you can have a look in the box first. And as said I bought some at this site: http://www.bat-hor.com/index.html. He sells loose figures ;-)

@Alex: How could I surprise you? I still find my paintwork "medium" as I look at other painters here on the forum.

Hi Peter,

I truly think this is your best work up to date. Clean and clear. The detail of clothing is top notch.

Your AWI British stuff has always been my favorite.

Looking forward to more of your work in this style.

Thanks!

I've tried to make some close-ups, but I failed. When I looked at the pictures, it looked like real horror to me. So sorry, but I won't post them. :?

Very nice figure, I like it very much.
Indeed, close up pictures are a little more difficult for obtaining the right appearance of figures of our scale

On the other hand, also the wether is not very fine here in your country or at least in its capital.... ;-)
Tomorrow I will go back home and hope to have a better one in my country....

Well, regarding painting, it seems that retirement is the best thing that could happen to you.

This is also my opinion, Peter, although I have already comment this figure in another thread.

Huh, that was when I was introduced to the 1/72 scale at my first Wargames club.

I really like this model. Granted, it wasn't done recently, but that's fine, I didn't know about this forum then lol

Close up photos often do make figures look ugly when really, they're not.

However, zooming the screen on these pictures gave me a good look at this figure and he is splendid. Very colourful and exotic and with some intricate details that you have handled very neatly.

He looks great! And no matter that he is ten years old, style never goes out of fashion.
