Valdemar - Lady in red

Posted by Peter on 27 Dec 2025, 14:44

This is something I've painted for The Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge last year. The older members will recognize these very well I think. They are from the time we could buy the wonderfull figures from Valdemar sculpted by Alex. Now they are hard to find. :P

A unusual topic. but a tempting scene of privat life in the Midellage. Looks like the guy tries to hold the horses... 8)

A lovely vignette, Peter, although not suitable for all audiences. At PSR, they would have censored those pictures.

Peter,
it has become a classic duo now and generates nostalgia. I never quite understood how to interprete the scene. It is troubling, is it not?
In any case, you interpreted them in a romantic style with lots of flowers and a natural support. Looking very good

Beautiful scene, it's a shame this brand of figures no longer exists... I still treasure several medieval references.

But don't report him to Peter, Dalibor. I suspect he would turn a blind eye.  :winky:

Mabo, I thought the store was closed after the owner's death.

Hello Santi,
that was correct, but someone else is the new owner, or operates the shop. A friendly guy, I can recommend the shop!
