King Enshakushana of Uruk

The great King Enshakushana of Uruk gathers the kings of various city-states loyal to him to fight the enemy.
He arrives on his chariot pulled by four kungas, surrounded by musicians.

Stéphane, as expected after seeing the different figures you have shown in the ‘work in progress’ section, the final diorama is a masterpiece. I love the variety of aspects of the warriors of the different allies of the king of Uruk and the historical introduction you show in your blog/website. :love: :love:

By the way, every time I visit London and the British Museum, I always spend some time marvelling at the Royal Standard of Ur on display there:

Yes, this first civilization isn't very often represented in figurines.
This standard of Ur is a sublime and extraordinary artifact, especially considering that it comes from the first civilization.

The palm trees are homemade, as is the succulent. The soil is coffee grounds.

Wow! I hadn't really noticed how all the different color choice sin your earlier photos fit together, but the end result is beautiful.

Great job! I can't find the WIP post, they are 3d printed then? very realistic everything. Indeed the sumerians are very much forgotten, no matter how important they were!
