Posted by C M Dodson on 16 Jun 2025, 13:48

Today is the two hundredth and tenth anniversary of the Battles of Ligny and Quatre Bras.

I have dug out some pictures to celebrate the event.

I agree with Santi, it's the typical and incredible "Chris Style" , the movie-maker :-D
It's a marvelous celebration of the anniversary, best compliments Chris !

Your work is a never ending source of inspiration Chris. I agree wholeheartedly with Donald. Unsure which photo I like the most but think it’s the British Horse Artillery photo.

No on second thoughts there’s something special in every photo. In truth what I like most of all is the incredible depth of field in your photography.

I've been off line for a while, but am returning to say what a pleasure it is to see these photographs again.

Thank you gentlemen for your kind comments.

They are much appreciated.

Much has been learned from these earlier episodes with the Antietam project benefiting as a result.

Hopefully, I can raise the bar with Aspern Essling.

Best wishes,

Chris
