I was really keen on building this Achilles from Armourfast. Mainly because I had bought years ago an Achilles Conversion set from Early War Miniatures.

It was not easy to find all the positions for the parts without instructions, but in the end - I hope - I put it all together correctly. I am quite satisfied, because the additional equipment really enhances the very simple Armourfast sets and it is especially nice to have a crew. Even now it's still a bit "basic", but I was glad to have finally managed to make a first attempt with the EWM sets. I have two or three more...

Then I built a CMP Tractor from Plastic Soldier Company, quite simple, but I think okay in the end. I like the British and Canadian design.
I had to do some research on the markings. And even in my rather extensive collection of books, there are still not answers to everything.

And finally, I have taken another step on the long road to a convincing depiction of the camouflage scheme of the German vehicles in Normandy or in the final phase of the Second World War. I also tried my luck with a Tiger. Also a model from Plastic Soldier Company.
The model represents the respectable quality of the company's sets. However, I must say in all modesty that I am quite satisfied with the result of the painting.

I will now get back to the many projects I have started, as time permits...
