Wooooow! I guess i might finally have found someone who takes as long as I do to paint a cavalry figure!!!
Beautiful work indeed. Congratulations sir on your audacity and determination to finish it. (Many of my similar minis are abandoned halfway through when i make a mistake or i lose my enthusiasm or enchantment with the figure).
If i had to find a fault i would say that i think your figure's eyes are perhaps not as convincing as they could be. But that is being a real nitpicker, i know! Sorry (even my wife tells me sometimes I am intolerable)!

Unbelievable!
Your fingers in the picture prove that it is 1/72 scale; otherwise one might think it must be a large scale like 1/16 or something, given this amount of fine details...

Always a pleasure to see your beautiful work. The patterning on the cloak and mantle is unbelievable.

This guy is no shrinking violet, I think he's the type who wants to be noticed. And, I have to say, I think you've got him looking every bit as spectacular as HE would want to look.

The brocade pattern on the folds of the coat is exquisite and, once again, the play of light on the metalwork is remarkable (NMM I assume).

Wow, I love this style with the extreme blacklining....it fits great and it must be a real eye opener to see this figure in real life.

truly fantastic work. Precise patterns, gorgeous colors, extreme detail. I have to agree with k.b. - his eyes need something but only because the rest of figure has every detail clearly defined. I also love your color choices, those are lovely blues.
