Howdy,
I've just finished painting them all. Excellent set from Dark Alliance.

Really nice paintjob on these riders! They're going to be a perfect company for your Zvezda Vikings :)

I think I read from you in another topic that you glued the riders with white glue (cola blanca), is it possible? I'm curious to know what can be used for glueing that kind of miniatures.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Licaón. With soft plastic riders I use to pin them to the horse with a piece of wire and cyanoacrylate, and at the next day I give them an extra coat of white glue to fill the gaps between the horse and the rider and also to give them a stronger bond. After that, I prime and then paint and finally varnish (two coats).

I failed to make a comment when I first saw this blacksmith. My apologies……These are very nicely painted figures indeed.
Like most people from our hobby, even though I don’t paint fantasy figures, I was mesmerised by Peter Jackson’s films.
Your figures have represented the goodies and the baddies very nicely.
As yours truly has always been a bit of a rebel how about some more close-ups of the goblins on their extremely well painted mounts ?……. (Sorry I forgot their names). Perhaps you could have varied their colours just a wee bit…… I believe I recall their being some colour variations in the movie.

I really appreciate your comments. The reason why all my wargs are the same colour is because I am such a lazy ass. Here you have a close up of the Warg riders that I have already posted time ago in this forum (right click on the pic and select see image).

Thank you kindly! Yep these wargs are terrific, both the sculpts and the paint job. Well done.
