Figures from Tumbling Dice, Revel, A Call To Arms, and a couple I can’t remember the manufacturer.

I have to ask here to but how many toystores did you rob to get all these figures from this period?

Fantastic painted unit again!

Very good. These are suitably 'generic' to represent well-equipped cavalry, including ECW NMA 'Ironsides', for almost any of the period 1630-50. Very nicely painted and presented again, although (also again) you will appreciate that the cavalry banners here are too large.

I'd be interested to know whether your collection includes any of the famous 'lighter' cavalry types that featured in Swedish TYW armies, notably Finnish units? And also, of course, dragoons (the Revell Swedish cavalry set includes several such figures).

I'm sure that I detect a few 'Waterloo 1815 Cromwell's Ironsides' figures here too.

lovely painted cavalry and, somehow, they really have a riding through the dust of the battlefield look about them.

I was never particularly interested in the period before but lately there's something about cavalry of this type that just grabs me. I do like to see lobster pots and buckskin and these ones are very nice.

Good work indeed and nice addition to your project. I would like to see one photo from a distance that captures whole unit.
