A perfect diamond !
I love the ground, the action and the painting, it's all really excellent.
Is the base a real rock ?

You have made a beautiful diorama, tullo. I like a lot both the figures and the base.

A very effective diorama using just a relatively small number of figures from well-known medieval sets. The overall impression is very good !

Very dynamic diorama, I love the overall muted, brown colour palette. Lots of wash use, I can see, especially on the horse.

:yeah: Yes, I would agree, it’s a really nice muted palette. A very nice diorama.

Excellent painting and composition.
If I may say anything about the figures, you have mixed two types of armor separated by 250 years of war evolution.
But this does not detract from the originality of your work.

The rider and the first foot soldier on his right are XII century men (they come from the Italeri Crusaders set). The others represent warriors in late XIV / early XV century (Revell HYW sets).
Edit: and the horse must come from Revell Normans set.

Didn't armor last a long time, cost a mint, and get passed down from father to son for generations? So maybe you could see examples from different eras on the same battlefield...
