Senegaleses Tirailleurs.

Posted by Jaques on 28 May 2020, 20:33

Hi , friends.

In the ongoing work of the Franco-Prussian War, I started to build French troops.
This figure is constructed and I made it out of white metal and resin. Hope you like.

I never seen this african face, do you remember where you find it?

Hi, Friends.
Thank you very much for all the comments.
Continuing, the other tirailleurs. These are the Emhar zouaves.
The heads were made using the Arab figures from the manufacturer Nikolai. I worked hard to increase the size and thickness because the originals are very small. Then I made copies.
In the last photo, the comparison.

Hi , friends.

Thank you very much for your kind comments.
This has been a “monstrous job” and I confess that, at my age, it has increased the difficulty of my eyes in painting the smooth details of Emhar's figures.
Next week, will be posted using the same figures with other heads, in the version of the algerians tirailleurs and veteran zouaves of the imperial guard.

Regards.
