War of Spanish Succession

Absolutely love these cavalry figures of yours Rich as well as the casualty figures in this infantry unit. I think we all neglect these casualty figures in our units and it's a shame because they add another dimension of realism to our regiments. Your staggering output is enviable, and your photos inspire me enormously!

Another wonderful addition to your WSS armies, Rich. And, as others have already mentioned, I really like those blue uniforms. An interesting contrast to the reds and whites used by other countries.

Well done! :yeah:

lovely painted cavalry and infantry, Rich.
As always I should say.
I agree with k.b. that the casualty figures add to the realism of the scene.

Thank you for sharing
Patrick.

Again, those look very fine! Nice basing, as always, and I like very much your handling of the red coats (my favourite coat colour to paint!)

I couldn't agree more with Bill's opinion. This is another fantastically painted horse unit to add to your WSS armies, Rich. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Fine work, well done Rich!

You have achieved a consistent style and high quality in your painting of these Strelets WoSS figures which is pleasing to the eye, with the character of the individual figures (and their distinctive faces) being reflected well. I also like the fine brush work on the flag of this unit of Palme's Horse.

Keep up the good work :yeah:

Next up, a unit not at Blenheim, but the figures were too good to ignore. Garde Du Corpes 3rd French company. Thanks for taking a look, and I'll post the Grenadiers a Cheval when'm back from my holidays!

Nicely done sir, the only thing I spotted when checking against Robert Hall's book was the waistbelt (swordbelt) is shown as silver/green/silver bands (not square like the carbine belt)

ps I made the same mistake.

Fine work Rich. You have managed to paint the detail on these French elite cavalrymen very well, covered in various uniform decorations as they are. The carbine belts in particular must have taken some time!

And once again you have managed to paint the device on the company flag very well indeed. Well done!

Happy holidays!

Another wonderful unit, Rich. The dark blue uniforms are a delight to the eye. As always, the terrain is also impressive. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

It is a pleasure to look at you growing range of painted units. I am voting for an overall view of the armies.
