Turkish Deli Cavalry

Posted by TK on 21 Feb 2020, 18:02

Hi,

I painted a Turkish Deli Cavalry unit for wargame.
I used and mixed the Zvezda Turkish Cavalry, Cossaks and Orion Deli Cavalry sets. The wings are from the Orion Polish Winged Hussars set. Some shields are scratchbuilt.

Very impressive TK, I love seeing unit conversions like this that can only be a labor of love. Only your fellow hobbyists have any idea of the amount of work that goes in to a project like this. The results are stunning and a beautiful addition to any Ottoman army. Fantastic job sir!

Yes, it was fashion not only for Turkish but sometimes Polish and Hungarian Hussars did it too.
