Vikings and Saxons

The Vikings and Saxons are all mighty impressive.

I really like the shield maidens, it's good to see female warriors actually looking like warriors.

I´ve contacted TD About buying some of their stuff but the payment System is, to say the least, a bit odd. It appears it´s either PayPal or Nothing. The "pay with creditcard" doesn´t link, which sort of Limits buying thier stuff.

Found these in my “To do box”. Sorry they are mixed up but it gives you an idea, they consist off the following figures:
Goths GO1 Heavy Infantry, GO2 Medium Infantry, GO3 Archers, GO4 Skirmishers
Anglo Saxon AS3 Select Fryd, AS4 General Fryd, AS5 Skirmishers

Those are looking great, Paul! Nice toning on the flesh and the hand-painted shields and flags are fantastic - really nice painting.

Thanks for the comments :-)

Mix of mid Brown, yellow and White. I tried the mix as an Experiment and it seems to give better graduation of tones. I have now thrown my "european flesh" Colour away.

Hi Paul,

I had my doubts about this set but i must say that painted like this they look absolutely perfect ! Although the guy on the right holding his sword above his head like a dagger or something is stil a strange pose.
But nevertheless a perfect paintjob :yeah: :yeah: :yeah:

Very nice! That hornblower looks a bit like the Russian hornblower from one of Zvezda's first sets. But it's a pose that's probably is hard to make too different. Are you still painting with ordinary water-colours? You really are great to mix colours to something useful!

Okay if I go to your craft store, will I be able to paint figures as well as you do? Address, please.
