Hey this was my contribution for the 9th competition. I also had a hard opponent with that figure of the Waterloo 1815 set (I've seen two of them by the way ;-) ) And before you all start to tell me, I know I lost some votes because of the shield (I don't like it myself). I just painted it like it was sculpted.

Thanks to all who voted for me  , and I hope you enjoyed it!

Nice choice of a figure, and a good paint job, too !

Still, I'd rather see that horse being painted like iron or stone 'cause it's overstated.

Back in the days, I LOVED to change the weapon on that Revell'ian rider.
Normanns are still some of my favs, even with those great shields. ;)

Gruß,
Marc.

Good work my friend.
One of the best horses in this scale.
But you've got the base overloaded.
Sometimes less is more.

Thank you all for the nice comments!

It was of the dynamic horse pose I took this figure. And when it was painted I even loved it more  If it was allowed I should have send it in without the rider, but thas was against the rules

@Konrad: I was trying something out, all with naturel stuff. The needles are from a foresttree, the "mos" is out of the garden, and the rock from the parking yard! Next time I give it more attention, promised Konrad ;-)
