My Spanish Cavalry brigade for the early Peninsular War. Very much a mix and match force

Maria Luisa Hussars (later became Estramandura Hussars) nicknamed the run-away Marys. These are Zvezda SYW hussars on the Esci Polish Lancer Horses.

Cazadores a Caballo - Voluntarios de Espagne. Italeri French hussars on the carabinier horses from the same manufacturer.

Villaviacosa Dragoons, using Italeri Prussian Cuirassiers

Rey Cavalry Regiment, known for its successful charge at Talavera, again Italeri Prussian Cuirassiers

Charge!
Well done, so good to see all those Spanish horse, frustratingly pathetic as they can be on a gaming table. I like your conversions and glad to see that you went with the Mirliton cap for your Maria Luisa Hussars.

Hi Fire-at-Will
Nice conversions, straightforward, colourful and effective.
I have a coloured drawing of Vilaviciosa Dragoons since I was a child.

Cheers

You can never have to much cavalry upon ones table top.
Your mix works well, and your bases are not overdressed for the occasion.
So well done Will. BB

Very nice and very colourful. Interesting use of the Prussian Cuirassiers.
