Brunswick Artillery 1815

Posted by MABO on 10 Nov 2019, 01:23

After a long break, I present you only a small batch of new figs. These are Artillerymen from the Brunswickers in 1815. Figures are from Art Minis. I have them since a long time and I really like their lifelike poses. I have painted them some 20 years ago. So before basing them I repainted some aspects. Hope you like them...

They are very nice, I like the way you've done the braiding and the subtle highlights on the black uniforms.

I wonder if any plastic manufacturer will ever make these because the Art Miniaturen figures look really good.

Very nice indeed.

It is lovely to see a realistic sized gun crew and command.

War gamers especially seem to ignore the amount of space taken up by artillery units and their entourage.

Best wishes.

Yes, nice-looming work and really fine figures - they stand the test of time! And I agree, it's great seeing a full gun crew on a gaming base.

That is a nice set of figures indeed. The yellow details look very fine on the black uniforms. Nice paintjob!

Yes Sascha, as you have mentioned in another thread: Some new plastic Brunswickers would be nice. Some Artillery and - most important - some Line Infantry, not allways the Leibbatallion. The Schmäling Figures sind very nice and I am happy that I have bought them from Kai Fuhrmann, some 20 years, ago.
