Fantastic painting of these figures and great mis en scene. I am most impressed by the cavalry with beautifully painted horses and I also like the New York regiment with the Zouave style uniforms.

Hi...

Usually posting my figures here is a moment of joy. After months dealing with them on my painting table, finally, they are finished and ready to be shared with you.

But today, for the first time in so many years, I feel sadness doing it. A good deal of these figures are from Speira. And Amos, who make them possible, is not here to see the final result and share their opinion with us.

These figures are wonderful, and they surely need a better painter than me to make them justice. Tried my best but I hope some day we can see them coming out from the hands of someone with greater skills.

Wherever you are, Amos, thank you very much for your vision and initiative.

Agree with you about the Speira figures! I don't have that many, but they really are a joy to hold in your hand! Hopefully Speira can continue to prosper. Agree also with Chris and Jan, you have really done good work on them and given them a proper setting! And Bessiere, maybe change web-browser can help. I don't know, but it can be worth a try.

These are the fancy McClellan's Zouaves and the 1rst South Carolina Infantry Regiment.

Not many good things being confinated at home but I think I'm going to paint everything I got waiting for it's chance...

Super nice work! Tons of detail but the way everyone blends together is a real feat. It can be hard to create that consistency. I especially love the confederate mounted bugler, he's great! Hi there...

Nothing too exciting this time, just some reinforcements for the Northern Side:
Union Marines and the 54th Massachusetts Volunteers (the second African American regiment recruited by the Union and a well know one thanks to their charge at Fort Wagner and the film Glory)

I had to speed up my painting because in a week I will go back to work and now I can see on the pictures the rush consequences...

I am currently painting up Union A troops so I know what is involved.
