What joy was to paint so many figures...And in the end it is such a reward when you look your own hands work...There is no reward than when you realise you made something by your self and that it looks great...

Fantastic painting of these figures and great mis en scene. I am most impressed by the cavalry with beautifully painted horses and I also like the New York regiment with the Zouave style uniforms.

Hi...

Usually posting my figures here is a moment of joy. After months dealing with them on my painting table, finally, they are finished and ready to be shared with you.

But today, for the first time in so many years, I feel sadness doing it. A good deal of these figures are from Speira. And Amos, who make them possible, is not here to see the final result and share their opinion with us.

These figures are wonderful, and they surely need a better painter than me to make them justice. Tried my best but I hope some day we can see them coming out from the hands of someone with greater skills.

Wherever you are, Amos, thank you very much for your vision and initiative.

Here you have the Berdan's Sharpshooters and the Iron Brigade 6th Wisconsin Volonteer regiment.

Joan

Wonderful work.

You certainly have been busy and I really like the way you bring them to life.

Best wishes,

Chris

Agree with you about the Speira figures! I don't have that many, but they really are a joy to hold in your hand! Hopefully Speira can continue to prosper. Agree also with Chris and Jan, you have really done good work on them and given them a proper setting! And Bessiere, maybe change web-browser can help. I don't know, but it can be worth a try.

Great work Joan and thanks for your kind words about Amos. Your paint job on these excellent figures looks worthy of them, with no room for doubt. Bittersweet to see them here now.

Excellent and magnificent work as always Joan;
You are creating, I think, the best catalog of 1/72 armies for the posterity. Thank you for it¡
I agree with Susofrick, your work on them is the best tribute you can do¡
Congratulations¡

Hi...

Two more State units for the southern side.
These are the fancy McClellan's Zouaves and the 1rst South Carolina Infantry Regiment.

Not many good things being confinated at home but I think I'm going to paint everything I got waiting for it's chance...

I hope you are all doing well...

Warm regards!

Joan

Lovely, as always, and very nice flags! And I love all the variations of uniforms - no two figures alike! These are so well done.

Super nice work! Tons of detail but the way everyone blends together is a real feat. It can be hard to create that consistency. I especially love the confederate mounted bugler, he's great! Pictures like these is why I joined here. Lots to learn from the skill of the people here on display. Thanks for sharing! these are as close to perfection as possible. Gorgeous rich color and blends. A+++

Hi there...

Nothing too exciting this time, just some reinforcements for the Northern Side:
Union Marines and the 54th Massachusetts Volunteers (the second African American regiment recruited by the Union and a well know one thanks to their charge at Fort Wagner and the film Glory)

I had to speed up my painting because in a week I will go back to work and now I can see on the pictures the rush consequences... :stressed:

Very nice indeed.

Lots of swapping of manufactures to gain a more amorphous reality.

The painting is great and you have put a lot of effort in here.

I am currently painting up Union A troops so I know what is involved.

Keep up the good work.

Best wishes,

Chris
