Not at all. Much more could be written.
The artistic merit of the diorama has been covered but the historic accuracy has been brushed over (pun intended).

Kudos go for the solid research behind the work that make Kostis' work so memorable.

Wonderful idea, sculpting and painting work.
You both have done a good job which brings us now very vivid a lost world back. It´s a small miracle with a great bull and very elegant men.

Thank you again my friends for such supportive comments! :notworthy:

Here I have to admit that my building has been affected by the way Evans has rebuilt the Minoan palace (use of cement). I also left a larger distance between the columns. (modeling license).

I was hoping you would add some of the Linear-A Minoans to this dio. They fit right in! If the women of your town still favor that style of dress, I may bump it up in the queue for an in-person visit. Or, even if they don't.

Kostis, you are from Crete?

I've never been there but did spend 10 fantastic days on Thera a few years ago. Akrotiri was amazing.

Hello Donald,
As a matter of fact I am from Akrotiri, Chania, Crete. Akrotiri in Greeks means Cape, and you can find it as a territory name in many different regions. :-D

Your figures are exquisite, subtle but very nicely done. The Linear A figures fit right in. I am fascinated by the Minoan Culture and perhaps one day I shall walk up the avenue to the palace at Knossos, one day.

I meant this one:

I have not (yet) travelled much in Greece. How could anyone with a love of history ignore your remarkable country? Post-Covid, I will remedy this.
