Marines of the Guard

Posted by Captain Sibourne on 09 Nov 2018, 23:19

After a long stint painting British squares, my Waterloo project has turned to the French for a while. Here are my Marines of the Guard.

You can see more on my Blog at: http://generalpicton.blogspot.com

Hope you like them, they were fun to paint. The figures are mostly Hinton Hunt, Franznap and Hat conversions, mostly from the Brunswick set with plumes attached.

Now there's something you don't see too often They look fabulous!

I fully agree with your choice to put them in full dress; life's too short for boring uniforms. :yeah:

I adore the toy soldier style of painting. Fantastic sight. BB

Excellent work again! How have you even got room to store all the completed squares and now these?!

Thanks everyone, on the question of storage, most my figures are in boxes but once they get transferred to their bases I put them in plastic tray boxes as follows:

Impressive! Wouldn't want to be the one having to hoover near that high pile of boxes...

Great collection of Waterloo figs. And a good way to store them in a save way.
