Prussian Grenadiers of Frederick II "the Great"

Posted by Konrad on 02 Nov 2018, 13:05

The first part of the Prussian Grenadiers from ZVEZDA.
The other poses will follow later.
If the uniforms are not 100% accurate, please forgive me.

Hope you enjoy!

Superb looking figures. I have always been scared by the comlplicated details and differnt uniforms of this era. But your´s look very good.

Looking great! Any plans to follow these up with any other sets from the era?

The "BLACK HUSSARS" are waiting.
And I also saw a few Prussians from HAT here. ;-)

Very nice Grenadiers. I share Thomas thoughts, but I also painted some soldiers of this era. Can you tell us which regiment you have portrayed?

Looking forward to seeing the next ones! Revell's SYW Austrian Artillery is a really quality set and I'm sure your painting would make them look even better if you gave them go...

Great subject and really well painting :-D :yeah:
I can only complain on yellow shade - for my taste too vibrant. But it's tricky colour hard to paint - as white and black...
