Canadian Jeeps in Normandie

Posted by MABO on 05 Sep 2018, 21:42

Here is another project from the leter stages of WWII: Two Willys Jeeps from the Canadian Army in Normandie. The Set is from Italeri No: 7506. The Decals are from Peddingshaus.

Next time I have to think about the linkage for the convertible top of one of them. There is only the canvas but the metal-parts are missing and have to be added. But generally speaking I am content with this Fast Assebmly Set which is easy and much simpler because it is for gaming, I think. I hope you like it as well.

A few MP`s would certainly look good. Some kits have figures while most don`t.
They certainly look real in the way you`ve presented them. Well done Jan, I love it all. BB

Yes it's a pity that more kits doesn't have figures in them. It can be kind of annoying and time consuming having to sculpture them for yourself or having to look around at all the smaller webshops trying to figure of if it's worth the transport cost just for one or two specialized figures.
