Blog Pics (various)

Posted by Denyer on 14 Aug 2018, 08:59

Hi,

With encouragement from Paul from Paul's Bods I have (finally) got around to posting some images from my Blog...

I'm basically a Gamer, solo for the most part (which is what my Blog is about) rather than being a painter for painting's sake (though it doesn't always feel like that.. :) ) , so almost all of my pics will be from "actions", rather than posed pics..

Most of my work is in 1/72 - mainly medieval and Early Roman Empire.

From a medieval "Hunting" game:

Some other Medieval small-scale chases etc.

A Roman skirmish:

A Celtic Pig Raid

A couple from some larger battles

At the moment I am working on expanding my medieval lads and on a Roman/Judean project, but sometimes lose my way going off down side routes.. Eventually I'll work out how to use the camera properly... :)

Welcome indeed, some interesting stuff there. A link to your blog would be nice, see what other goodies there are, perhaps a synopsis of the hunting rules you use.
Even better if you are in reach of Darkest Dorset.

Cheers,

The blog is "Denyer's Bits & Bods". Not been going very long (and I have been up to my ears with other things this month) but what I am trying to on it do is set out some of the methods/tricks/rules I use to make solo play varied and fun - though most of what I put out there can easily be tweaked for multiplayer/dual play.

I'm Brighton-based m'self...

Yep.... One of my faves.... It's a publicity still from "Soldiers Three"... And one in which he looks remarkably like my dad, as it happens.... :)

Hello Mr D.

Some very nice work on display and super photography to show it to its best.

I have not seen Maid Marion since I was very small. Lovely stuff indeed.

Keep up the good work and keep posting.

Well done.

Best wishes,

Chris
