More Strelets WWI Austrians - without gasmasks!

Posted by Marvin on 18 Jul 2018, 11:14

And following on from my Austro-Hungarian WWI Infantry in Gasmasks - here are the remainder without any of their 'gummimaske' protection from the increasingly rare set "Strelets WWI Austrian Infantry".

More pics and waffle on - https://suburbanmilitarism.wordpress.com/2018/07/18/strelets-wwi-austro-hungarian-infantry/

I'll just shut up and show the figures... :-D

These ones don't look like they're auditioning as Dr. Who monsters but they are as nicely painted as the last group and we can see the lovely work on the faces. As you say on your blog the Strelets figures do have a lot of individual character in the faces and yu've really brought it out.

Excellent paint on sub-par figures. Marvin, you love a challenge, apparently. I am very glad you painted these fellows up, and even more glad you showed them to us here at BFF.

Hello Marvin,
you know I like your painted figures. In this case it seems to be real hard because the figures itself did not look very good to me even if I am a friend of Strelets and also of their earlier sets. But you made both Austrian Sets an eyecandy. I am looking forward to see the next presentations.
