Strelets WWI Austro-Hungarian Infantry in Gasmasks

Posted by Marvin on 17 Jul 2018, 23:31

Hello! Continuing on with my WWI painting for 2018, I've been working on some Austria-Hungary troops by Strelets. First batch are from a single sprue I had of troops wearing gasmasks.

I used a mix of Vallejo's Grey-Blue with a little Field Grey to get a shade close to the troop's "Pike Grey" Uniform.

I'll share some pics of the other K&K troops without gasmasks shortly. Cheers,

Marvin.

Nicely painted figures. The sculpts look pretty good for Strelets.

Those old gas masks look like they were designed to frighten children to sleep, but you've got them looking quite wonderful. Splendid painting and I agree with Kekso, you are a good advert for the set.

Cool looking figures Marvin, and real nice painting and basing too.
I guess if you mix them with their comrades from the other box, they could fight over who gets to wear the gas-masks? :-D BB
