Un pour tous - tous pour un

Posted by Michael Robert on 26 May 2018, 19:49

Hello,

this recent set is really fun. Could not resist in painting it as interlude on my Krak.
Our three mousquetaires - well actually four - are having fun. Not with Richelieu's guarde because he was not a foe to the king (just a little bullshit from a popular novel).

Louis XIII comes out with a rather neutral face expression and Anne d'Autriche severe and dignified - good. I like the Richelieu figure as well.
Lady de Winter somehow was a problem. First of all I scratched off her knife. Just looks silly. Then turned her head. There is a little bit of mould mark in the face and by cleaning it the face became slightly dsifigured. One half looks girlishly innocent and the other has a dvelish grin (I have 3 more to improve)
Constance Bonnadieu looks like an old woman here. Well, just a servant.

Have fun
Cheers Michael

Several nice figures.
The man in blue behind Richelieu, is a nice paint cross.

BB, Alizee and Romy Schneider in there early days.

It is very difficult to paint a 1/72 scale lady and make her beautiful! I won't say you succeeded, but I do applaud you for trying.

These are very interesting figures indeed. Thanks for sharing.

Terrific, I really like those dynamic fencing figures and very good work on the women's gowns.
