Quo Vadis??

Posted by carlosfaro on 18 May 2018, 00:28

Somewhere in Armorica (Gaul), year 50 . B.C..

A poor roman legionary recruit, just arrived to the area, is going to have a disgusting encounter with the natives.. or maybe these two "Anonymous" gauls just want to ask him for their lost little white dog (?) ..
(conversion from Revell basis and 28mm warrior from Eureka Miniatures....Roman is original Strelets..Hope you enjoy)

Beautifully painted figures Carlos but those anonymous gauls look oddly familiar, is the one on the left Gerard Depardieu?

I think the Roman should apply for stress leave.

Using a 28mm figure for the handsome guy in striped trousers is very clever! Great idea!    Love them totally! Haven't even started with mine  (just some Egyptian girls, two Romans and Cacofonix). Hmm, have that Revell set somewhere. Also made those guys a couple of years ago, but used Italeri and Airfix. This looks great!

Hehe you got the subtle traces... Surely they are not anonymous at all..

Poor roman will miss Germania or Parthian frontier soon..

Suso, I saw your trials long ago!! Actually that inspired me at some point, i imagined how Asterix and Obelix would look like as "realistic" 1/72 figures... I think it worked..
The original 28mm was looking as Obelix from the very beginning, check that here:
