Dear Paul, It's honor for me, a such a good storyteller like you to have a story to tell for my vignette.
Though I feel something more than "collaboration" with Carlos. I admire his work, so some months ago I had asked to buy some of his figures. His responce was to send them as a gift. Of course I wanted to make a vignette using mainly his figures. So though I don't even know how he looks like, I consider him as a good friend of me.

A wonderful vignette, full of skill of course, but also with an interesting atmosphere, something that makes me think of Tim Burton. I admire your work.

Great. Brings me back in my Holmes day, when I red books, comics and watched show with Jeremy Bratt. Those were glorious days for me. Thanks Kostis.

Well, just look at the photo of Kostis' avatar and tell me who would not feel honored to be considered his friend.
The one who admires his work is me. And who does not ?.
I have not collaborated with the work of the good kostis, that would take away much merit from him, I just sent him some figures and I told him that I would like to see my figures worked by an expert.

And look at the beauty that he have done with it. :yeah: :yeah: :yeah:

I think that with Kosits we share the fact that we are not "strictly" military modellers and we like to work in other topics, like the classics.
After seeing this great job he has done, I can not stop asking him if he wants me to send him more figures, I think I am becoming annoying with that, poor Kostis.

Collaboration: meant in the sense of one artist author creating art ,and then sending
those items of creativity, for another artist author to paint up in his own unique style!
Of course I withdraw the collaboration statement as it was totally missunderstood. BB

Well, seeing it that way I think we have collaborated so do not remove the statement. :-D
I think that in this site everyone collaborates with everyone, not directly, but with good comments, points of view, giving ideas when we are not inspired. Maybe nobody will paint you a figure directly, but they show you how to do it or how to do it better, and encourage you to show your works and photos .
Raising your spirits when you thought a work was very bad, and things like that.
There is a positive feedback that arises from the desire to help the other so think that collaboration statement could be used in most of the comments that are written here.
I have noticed that since I entered this site I have improved in the hobby with this collaboration of the group. :yeah:

Please don't. Your statement was very encouraging for me. I only wanted to enhance the meaning.

That sounds super cool guys. The word in question stays as if it were clear cut chiseled out in stone.

A fantastic scene! :yeah: Everything is consistent! Beautiful figures painted very lively. Lamp, fence and park bench complete the lovingly styled diorama. Missing only the London fog ... ;-)

Pretty cool to see this splendid hobby style work pop up again. The flower girl just fits in so nicely, and as a point of interest is asking Holmes, " What is that pleasurable smell coming from your puff upon pipe? It is making me giggle in a most uncommon way." So it appears that the Policeman is not the only happy one within this beautiful scene. BB
