Now then certain persons from the WIP  Wasn't this worth waiting for? .

A lovely scene Kostis. Wonderful figures from Carlos, wonderful conversion work from you and the whole exquisitely painted.

The third pic is an excellent composition and the background looks like a typical Victorian London smog. Great stuff.

Fantastic! Story-telling through diorama worthy of Wiking, craftsmanship and realism sufficient to satisfy even Mr. Cryns, and enough scratch built materiels to cause Beano Boy to beam with pleasure!

Kostis, a top ten job, really a masterpiece. It's a very well balanced vignette where every element occupies its right place. I like everything of it: figures, scenary, painting...

When I become older I want to make dioramas like yours, you're my idol. :notworthy:

Santi.

It is the first time in my life that I see any of my figures worked by a true master.
I'm really honored that you worked with my figures.
You are so good at painting and working the figures that you make that some sculptures that are not so good, look spectacular
I'm going to download those picture and I'll look at them a thousand times.
Thank you for this you have done.

Yes! Perfect detail, a pleasure to look at this little masterpiece!

Just out of curiosity: Where did you get the accessories, the bench, the fence etc.? I know that MiniArt produces similar stuff, but only in 1/35 as far as I know.

Elementary my dear Dr Watson!

As a Sherlock Holmes reader and Jeremy Brett as Sherlock fan I think you have captured the atmosphere of the time impeccably.

Best wishes,

Chris

Thank you friends for your kind words. :-D
@sberry The bench is from Busch. The railings, lamp post and pier cappings are from Scalelink.
The street is Noch plastic card. The manhole covers are Langley. The others are scratch. ;-)
@Carlos The feelings are mutual. Thats what I call FRIENDSHIP.
I was proud and happy working with your figures. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

The more I look at it, the more it reminds me of one vignette running now in the painting competition. I may be wrong :eh:

Not many of us go back that far Graeme :P

A good point though, a photo with a medium fog (smoke) could be very atmospheric. I'd certainly like to see one. 8)

The light needs turning on and lighting, but i love it all.
Below is my rendition. BB

Image

"Hello Molly,i thought you were leaving London?"
"I did Mr Holmes, but me lungs were not used to fresh air. I just had to return."
Dr Watson realising the local Bobby was upon his beat, just hoped he would not ask Holmes what he was smoking? "Nice doggy." he affectionately said while patting the mutt interested in his leg. Then he laughed a few times. Yes Holmes was smoking wacky backy!
