I don't think the little fellows look too bad (even if I don't always paint all the "buttons" on the horse furniture) :P

Ah !
Here are now the survivors of the impalement.

Interesting is that all red, white flag on top of the lance wave in one direction.
But the national flag in an 90° angle to it.

And my favorite is still the trumpeter. He get an improvement. A black spot there a hole should be.

Colorful, nice painted row of mans and horses.
And good to know (earlier posts) that the different units each one use a different color of horse.

I knew you'd say something. :P

The Troopers are stationary so the wind direction idictates the movement of the pennants. The Standard bearer is moving faster than the wind is blowing therefore the Regimental Guidon is blown backwards relative to his movement.

Well done! I really like your technique and results on the grey horses. I always tend to shy away from light colored horses because of getting shading and depth to show. You have done very well.

Do you have plans to add grass etc?

That's a possibility depending on where I finally decide to position them. If it's on a high shelf then it's pointless as the tops of the bases aren't seen up there.

Here's a couple of references for the horse colours. They may come in handy. I think I may have transposed the browns of 2 and 3 Squadrons when I posted.

Hello FredG,

thank you for your pictures!

Good work!

Now I am a "nitpicker" - the Officer - Epaulettes and border are "gold" - not red/yellow - please look here

Best wishes...

They are also gold on my two references above Thomas. The figure will be corrected. :yeah:

He has gold epaulettes already Peter.

My references were having fun being transferred onto a different hard drive at the time I was finishing painting these. My No.2 hard drive was shouting at me about impending death so I took the opportunity to upgrade the Windows drive at the same time and make the new No.1 a Solid State Drive. The old No.1 became No.2 and No.3 stayed as it was so I still have plenty room for more uniform piccies . :-D :yeah:

I only got my computer back yesterday ;-)
