From the woods !! (They're coming from the woods !)

Posted by PhilC on 18 Nov 2017, 15:21

Hi! I have not been very active (as a painter) this year, but I have now the opportunity to come back to the hobby. I recently finished a few orcs from Dark Alliance, and also painted a couple of Caesar goblins, so that I have a small warband if I also enlist an orc on warg painted in february and a troll completed in january.

I know that it much less than most of the masters and skillful contributors of this forum can do, but this is what I could achieve :)

All these little monsters are to be seen on the blog: https://philotepsfigures.blogspot.fr/20 ... -more.html

And a bonus question: Have you found the name of the singer from whom I stole a song name to entitle this post ? :D

I know perfectly well that I don't want to meet these in the woods! Well, they are probably there, just hiding from view! I like your painting!

Very cool force! Do you use them for some type of wargame, or just like to paint them for fun? I really like your scenery, as well.

They look very good! The troll (or is it an olog-hai?) is my favourite. Brilliant job on the skin an armour!

Thank you all for your kind comments.

@Bluefalchion: well, my daughter told me a few days ago that it would be a cool idea to recreate the battle of Minas Tirith in the living-room with hundreds of minis... The deal is: I paint the minis and she builds the fortress, fair isn't it ?

@Ben90: I must admit that I had to remember what a Olog Hai was before answering, but yes, that's it, armored troll in the service of Sauron :)
