While finishing my diorama "Gordon meets the Mahdi" (I have already the painted figures and hope to post pictures of them in the next days), I bring here another related colonial subject: the British Camel Corps.
These members of the Gordon relief expedition are made by Hät Miniatures and I painted them some years ago. The only conversions are the reins added to the camels (made from plasticine hardened with white wood glue) and the rifle glued to one saddle, coming from Esci/Italeri British Colonial Infantry.
Firstly the general pictures. I hope you like them.
In the next post, individual and more detailed pictures.
Santi.
