I've finally decided to stop touching these up (paint wise that is). They'll do provided I don't magnify them too much so OK in one of the wall cabinets.





I think my favourite bit on these are the buckles and fasteners on the carbine strap. Unfortunately I haven't taken a photo of those so you'll just have to imagine how well they came out

Who is the manufacturer of those Horse Guards?

The riders are Revell set 2578 British Life Guards with adjustments.

The horses are Italeri set 6080 French Light Cavalry to get the shabraques

I suspect it was a bit of a chore to get Revell cavalrymen to fit correctly on to Italeri steeds.

I'd love to say that it took hours of intricate carving and a few ingenious innovations but they fitted perfectly out of the boxes.
