Hello friends, after longer absence, now I would like to show you some new pictures of one of my last works. Last year, I began to paint my over 40 year old Airfix figures. These were one of the first figure-sets which brought my parents to me in 1971. Now this new painted figures brings me back nice memories to my youth… For painting I chose the uniform of the 92nd Gordon Highlander.
These hold up well to the test of time!! They were my first Napoleonics as well, soldiers I bought on a family visit to England in 1972. So nice to see them painted up so lovingly.
Also among my first figures (think the wagon train was first). Great a lovely work on these, but I can spot some figures that are converted from Airfix British Waterloo Infantry. And that sash over the shoulder on the officer is a very nice touch!
Professional quality painting without a doubt. Did you swap out the rifles? They really turned out looking well. I am also impressed with all the plaid patterns and the faces are top-notch.

# No I have not replaced the rifles, they are still the original... ... and you can believe to me, painting the tartan patterns was a helljob and I've cursed it more than once.
