It is a very nice diorama, Wiking! :yeah: How ever, it is hardly Dutch! :eh:
Maybee it was better to search or ask for pictures. Or make a good scene with the buildings you have.

Wiking--

Love the action captured with strategic photos. How did you do the flag?

The flag was print at a sheet of paper with others in a Preiser set.
I rumpled it several time to look used.

Thank you for your nice comment.

Hello Bill, Indonesian houses were a lot smaller, during the colonial period, unless they worked with the Dutch. Then they, usual, had larger houses than the average Indonesians. Dutch "masters" had huge houses, of which some still stands there.

Hi, mickey mouse :-D

The house with the pink roof is form: DIO 72 (Made in the Netherlands), RUINED ARNHEIM HOUSE No.:72009

The house with the red roof is from: DIO 72 (Made in the Netherlands), BELGIAN HOUSE No. 72007
The house with the dark roof is from: DIO 72 (Made in the Netherlands), GERMAN FACHWERK HOUSE No.72006
The house with the green roof is from: Add on parts, FRENCH HOUSE CORNER. No.72009

I did not know any higher quality house (During the build in 2014) who will fit better for a Dio like this.

Hello Wiking, Helmuths strongholds offers a Dutch Arnhem street scene. I have heard, that there will be made more in the future. The only thing is, is that it is in plaster.

Although being made in plaster, it is highly accurate.

Hi, mickey mouse :-D

Image

I get two (2016, are they available in 2014 as I already wrote?) for a very special price.
The reason why I get that cheaper I show you in the photo.

It is not bad for the price I pay.
The quality (molding, fine details) is for truth not bad as you told.
But the Add on parts (plaster too) FRENCH HOUSE CORNER. No.72009 Is in quality ( and price!) a number higher and as it is called a corner house!

You are really a great story-teller! How many details! How many stories in the story! And which impressive interactions!
How long did you worked for it? Where did you find all these small items of furniture and kitchen-stuff?

Wiking, that is the problem with plaster: It breaks too easaly! Maybe you can contact them to ask for replacements?

I am impressed  by your words sansovino.
Thank you.

I can`t remember it correctly. I think 3 to 4 months. I stand up early and go into my hobby room in the morning. Prime figures or do simple basic things (perpared the afternoon the day before) who take not more as 10 - 15 minutes. In the afternoon I do the more complicate time consuming things. At weekends I spend more time in two to three sections. But not more as 1 to 1,5 hour per section. Because after that time it start to get boring. That`s true. :eh:

I call to E.T., and grab in the garbage before the star destroyers jump into the hyper room.
At model shows like Heidenin the past, now it is moved to Lingen. Or at Antwerpen.
Sometimes in the internet. For animales it was ebay. But now we get: Stenfalk !
Some example: The Buddha I find several years ago in Antwerpen. The ladder comes in a new Airfix airforce ground vehicle set. The metal, blue box under the ladder is in an Preiser WWII pilot set.
The golden shisha is from a Nicolai set.
The oval picture (green with orange lady) is cut out from a perfume or soap box.
The horse at the wall between the windows is cut from a surplus plastic card thing of a mustang jeans.
The blue long picture is from a commercial handbook of places there you can go at weekends to eat, play Billard etc.

I agree with you.

I get the lower price because the dealer show me the broken parts.
I saw what I buy first. I think he would sell his last two boxes.
A win win situation.

Fantastic!!!!! :yeah: Beautiful houses, interesting figures and great vehicles.
I love the 'Möbelwagen ' !!!! The anti-aircraft tank is a real eye catcher !!! Very nicely painted!
Also loving is the establishment of the partially destroyed house. Where did you get all the accessories? Funny the big buddha! Omm...... :-D
A sad story, however, took place on the loo. Poor guy. Shot on the 'Donnerbalken'. Gone stupid ..... ;-)
The 5th photo is totally realistic. This photo in black / white and everyone would believe it is an original photo from the war!!!!

Thank you Hellboy for the well chosen words.

The Buddha fit well to a nation who trade and got colonies in Asia.
Yes, the Donnerbalken story alone was too harsh. So I put a second one beside waving a white flag out of the heart. :-D

To my surprise no one mentioned the text done by MP 40 bullets at the white house wall.

Over all the years I collect a lot of small accessories. You can read more about that some posts above.

I am sorry. I try it but I get no program nor my camera can do b/w pic.

Wonderfull work, historical correct or not! Love all the small little details! Even the bullets in the wall are words! ;-)

That Buddha comes from this shop I think! They are specialised in small things:
